Q. What is your undergraduate degree in? Where did you earn and it and when
Social Work and I completed it at Western Michigan University in 2017
Q. What brought you to the VSW-CP?
The animal human bond and previous work completed with therapeutic riding
Q. Where did you complete your field placement?
Shangri-La Therapeutic Academy of Riding (STAR) in Lenoir City, TN
Q. Where will you be working and what will you be doing?
I will be moving back to MI and working at a children learning center, and also hopefully creating a VSW program within the learning program!
Q. Do you have any long term goals or dreams?
I would like to be an executive director and founder of a therapeutic riding center.
Q. What was the most rewarding part of the VSW Certificate Program for you?
The most rewarding part of the program was meeting people all around the world with similar dreams and hearing about the different programs people are creating.
Q. What was the most challenging part of the VSW Certificate Program experience?
The most challenging part of the program was fitting all the information into the year, there is so much to learn in such a short period of time but in the end it is rewarding.
