Biography
Chelsea Jones is from Greenville, Ohio and currently lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with her husband and two sons. Chelsea attended The Ohio State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences. Chelsea graduated from The University of Tennessee where she obtained her MSSW as well as a School Social Work certificate and a Veterinary Social Work certificate. Chelsea was an intern with Horse Haven of Tennessee in Knoxville, which is an animal wellness agency that rescues, rehabilitates, and adopts abused and neglected equine. Chelsea provided many services to the staff and volunteers with Horse Haven. Services included check-ins with shifts, crisis intervention during confiscations with debriefing afterwards, grief and loss support, individual therapy sessions by appointment, and a veterinary social work rounds group. Outside of school, Chelsea enjoys painting, gardening, and cooking. She also enjoys spending time with her family, her dog Matilda, and her horse Holly.
