Biography
Since graduating in 2014, Mel has continued her career with Banfield Pet Hospital. She was selected to participate in the opening of Tennessee's very first stand alone hospital in North Brentwood outside Nashville. Additionally, she is working on developing into a shift lead role for her home hospital. Since relocating to Nashville, she has also accepted a part-time PRN position with Nashville Pet Emergency Clinic. She uses her Veterinary Social Work skills every single day when interacting with clients and coworkers. Most recently, she has been travelling to multiple Banfield locations to give presentations on Well-Being and staying Positive during a stressful work day in a veterinary hospital. Mel hopes to continue giving presentations to all associates to spread awareness about well being and the importance of self care.
