Biography

Dan Davis-Long is currently a lead facilitator for both the Adolescent and Adult Intensive Outpatient programs at Health Connect America.  Alongside working with patients within a group setting, Dan also works with individuals and families one on one in the outpatient arena.  His background engaging individuals and groups in both therapeutic and personal performance oriented work while utilizing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning (EAP and EAL, respectively) has influenced the creation of a platform where these tools will be put to use in private practice.  In the autumn of 2016, Dan will be previewing a program where a client-centered methodology will engage a holistic and mindful approach aimed at observing and enhancing an individual’s overall emotional, spiritual and psychological balance while addressing performance goals with regard to career, overall level of functioning with a focus on self-care and self-awareness. While utilizing therapeutic and coaching modalities in stereo, integration of EAP and EAL will be incorporated when indicated as beneficial to the client’s needs.

Dan is pictured at Longview Farm, his family's farm, with his sister's horse, Angel.
