Veterinary Social Work Macro Intern
Biography
Rosie received her Bachelor of Arts from East Tennessee State University in 2010. While enrolled, she worked part-time as an Office Assistant for a personal support service agency. After graduating, she continued to work in aging services, and she became very interested in social work. In 2016, she returned to school to complete her MSSW and the VSW Certificate. She completed her foundation year field placement working with homeless and at-risk youth, through CAC – Homeward Bound, and she is currently an Organizational Leadership VSW Intern, in her concentration year field placement. She hopes to incorporate her VSW knowledge into her work with low-income and homeless populations.
