Allie Cohn

Graduate Assistant

Biography

Allie Cohn received her Bachelor’s of Science in Deaf Studies and
Psychology from the University of Rochester. She was a teacher for
students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing before moving to Knoxville.
She is currently working on her Master of Science in Social Work
(MSSW) at the University of Tennessee. She is in her third year of the
extended study program. She is in the Organizational Leadership
concentration. Allie joined the Veterinary Social Work team as a
Graduate Assistant.
 
Allie is currently doing her concentration field placement in the City of
Knoxville’s 211 Call Center. East Tennessee’s 211 line is dedicated to
referring residents to social services. 211 is a partnership with CAC’s
Office on Aging and the United Ways of East Tennessee.
 
Allie relishes spending time with her three sons and two dogs, Lola and
Ruby. She enjoys camping in the mountains, going to the Market
Street Famer’s Market and enjoying the many other things Knoxville
has to offer!
