Augusta O’ Reilly

Biography

Augusta O’Reilly, LSW is a conditionally licensed clinical therapist in Southern Maine who currently works with at risk for placement adolescents. She is an instructor of Animal Assisted Interventions at the University of Tennessee in the Veterinary Social Work Certificate Program. She is co-author in the forthcoming textbook The Comprehensive Guide to Interdisciplinary Veterinary Social Work. Her work interest includes integrating AAI with adolescents using equine assisted therapy and canine assisted therapy and bringing VSW supports to veterinary offices in southern Maine. Augusta enjoys expanding her homestead, which currently includes chickens, pot belly pigs, 2 cats and Great Pyrenees puppy, camping and hiking with her husband and daughter, Disney and horseback riding.
