Laurie Fonken

Dr. Laurie Fonken is a licensed Psychotherapist and Director of Counseling and Wellness Programs for the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University where she provides support to students, interns, residents and faculty and coordinates and teaches courses in the DVM program. In addition Dr. Fonken maintains a small private practice providing counseling and consultation, educational and experiential workshops, and team and community building activities for public, non-profit and veterinary entities.
As a native of Colorado, Laurie spends her free time with her two sons enjoying nature, running, hiking, skiing and practicing photography.
